Quite often we find our selves in the same old routine completing life through one checkpoint at a time.

It’s important to not forget to take time and love and care for yourself. How you self-care for yourself varies from person to person but here’s some things that make me feel happier after a grey day…

Bubble baths…

I personally don’t think you can go wrong with a few candles, heaps of bubbles and some quiet music. For me I usually have a bubble bath after a long day or weekend etc, it helps me refresh for the next day to come and clear my head.

Massages…

It’s actually crazy how much a massage can change your thought path. I used to have them once a month, but had to cut back. All the built up stress you may be feeling does have an effect on your body so massages help to remove that.

Hair Cut…

Well I don’t know about the rest of you but I feel like a new person after I’ve had my hair done, and their nothing more relaxing than someone else washing your hair!

Skin Care…

Bad skin can bring anyone down, so its important to consider your skin as part of your usual routine. Take care of it and don’t plaster your face with too many products and your skin will repay you the favour.

Music…

May that be sticking in your headphones, going to a gig or blasting the music so loud in your car no one can hear how bad you are! They all release that feeling in your body of pure enjoyment evening if you end up singing along to some oldies!!

    I love getting massages from time to time! They’re one of the best ways to get rid of physical stress. Such a wonderful post:)
