As you’re probably aware from my constant moaning about being an adult, I’m moving out.
A date has now been confirmed and the packing has begun!
Now I’m going to be honest, I am a complete ball of stress and have been for probably two weeks. But I’m generally the type of person who gets easily stressed anyway so I like to consider this just a challenge. Every group has that one friend whose the organised “mum” of the group and that’s me really. But I don’t have a clue how to do this. I have so far packed away all the stuff I haven’t used in about six months whilst also having a clear out, so things like candles and my record player and vinyls/cd’s and dvd’s. The main thing here is I am packing up one room and still need to buy for 3 other rooms like the kitchen and bathroom.
I was lucky enough to get plenty of useful bits and bobs for christmas but there is still SO MUCH. Just as I think I’ve got it all bam I need to get plates and more cups and ughhhhhhhhhh. DONE CBA
Plus I have a lot of stuff. Considering I wear the same 3 pairs of shoes in week, goodness knows why I own 15 pairs but hey, who doesn’t like to be prepared? There is a lot to do and a short space of time to do but, but the stress of 3 weeks compared to now owning a place of my own is minimal and totally worth every second!!
I’m ridiculously excited and apologies in advance to all my pals for bossing them around on moving day. (yep that’s right ive dragged all my pals into this madness too *EVIL LAUGH* ) I can’t wait for the experience to come and if you get the chance to get on the property ladder, take it because it will most definitely be worth it in the long run!
Wish me luck…
Lots of love,
Sophiemagsx

08/01/2018 at 6:44 amlook at the stress period as a sponge & challenge flower.
It will all go in and be squeezed out as the time approaches., then one big push and it’s all behind you.
Best of luck all the way.

09/01/2018 at 12:35 pmHow exciting! Is this your first time moving house?
I have moved over 20 times in my 36 years of life. I think the longest I’ve lived in one house was 4 years. It can be stressful, but I find it exciting to start fresh in a new space. Having your own place will be great! Glad you have lots of help – makes it more fun and definitely makes it easier to handle. All the best!
