Whats happening everybody?
Today I have a first time blog style for this little Hopeless Wonderer blog site and its a collab!! I know I know, I’m proud of me too, I have actually made a blog post other than one of my usual mid-life crisis posts…
Myself and the gorgeous Chloe Burford have joined together for a daytime/night-time routine collab post, where Chloe has put together a fab post for her day time routine. You can read my nightime routine below and I’m super excited to be collabing with Chloe.

Now I’m going to be honest, this hot weather is making me lose all sense of organisation so to say I have a night time routine currently, is a bit broad and mainly me rolling around in my flat complaining how hot it is. Opening the window because it’s too hot, then closing because of the STUPID BUGS then opening because UGH HOT you get my jist…
However when it’s not a 1000 degrees inside my flat and outside, my self-care evenings start at 7pm with relaxation, which comes in the form of a peppermint and liquorice tea. I find this tea really soothing and its helps calm my mind and warm me up enough to relax for the evening. Plus peppermint is really good for your immune system and keep on top of it all!
While I’m letting my cup of tea stew, the next part of my evening usually involves the washing up. I know, how much of an adult am I right? (its gross) This sounds weird, but I absolutely despise going to bed with a tray full of washing up. If I don’t do it then it will just build and build and soon there will be too much and I’ll have to move out because the entire place is filled with dirty dishes…
My next step is getting a fresh face. It is a must before bed to get every ounce of dirt and makeup off so I can sleep with a fresh face. I usually use these face wipes as they do a really good job and aren’t too sensitive to my skin, and also splash my face with some cold water just for that added touch. I always find that if I have gone to bed with a bit of makeup or skincare on, I just get a super oily base and I wake up feeling really grotty. These wipes are good for refreshing yourself.
The last little bit of my evening ends with lights off, fairy lights on and a good documentary on Netflix, seriously Netflix crime docs at the minute are on point! A few I would recommend include Evil Genius, and Held Captive- Jaceey Lee. SO BINGE WORTHY!
