Wales- the home of some of the most beautiful countryside to have ever graced your eyes.
For August bank holiday weekend, a group of myself and 7 of my friends, went camping in Oxwich in the Gower-Wales. The weekend consisted of beach days, warm BBQ’s, beautiful countryside walks, and of course as expected in Wales rain and wind!
Now I’m gonna be honest, I am not made for camping. I don’t really have the right stuff for it so relied on my friends to supply all the goods, but I think I survived quite well with minimal moaning and keeping most of my warmth…
The place itself was cute af and I friggin loved it. Something about being by the sea just makes you forget everything going on in the world and just enjoy the world you live in for its beauty.
Here are some fab pictures of the weekend….
That was my first camping holiday, any tips for a first time camper? If you live in England, do take the opportunity to visit Wales, it is a very stunning country!
Lots of love,
Sophiemagsx

14/09/2018 at 5:00 pmSounds amazing! I’ve been camping a few times but years ago. I’d say it pays to be prepared with the little things because those are what you miss and say ‘if only I had some…’, so things like wet wipes, hand sanitiser, tissues, flashlight etc. I’d want nicer weather because I’m a wimp and my body doesn’t like the cold (or anything mildly chilly!) but I’d love to visit more of Wales definitely. Great photos! 🙂
