Winter blues

Lets hang out today and chat! I wanted to write a post about something that’s been quite prominent over the last few weeks.

January and February have been filled with a lot of sadness and stress I feel. January always sucks because its such a long month and there’s just nothing to look forward to. These two months are cold, and wet and windy and generally all motivation to do anything or go anywhere has evaporated from my body and soul, and correct me if I’m wrong but I deffo feel like im not the only one??

But hey, we’re nearly out of the doom and gloom, flowers are starting to peak through the ground and the darker days are getting lighter. A few things that have kept me out of the harrowing hatred for these months is the awesome gigs I have been able to experience and also planning exciting things! I have a few festivals booked and were currently looking at a holiday to keep me going!

All in all, if you are feeling a little down because this time of year is bland and stressful and your brain is deciding to be more active about stress and worry now more than ever, I promise you it won’t last long, I can almost feel the heat of the sun on my back now!

Have you booked anything for this year?

Lots of love,

We can’t book anything until we get a passport for our three week old, so stuck at home for a few months. Hope you sort out a great holiday soon! Winter sucks…

January and February can be such hard months, I am beyond relieved to see all the spring flowers and clearer skies appear. I am so relieved I am not the only one who feels down in winter! So thank you for sharing! xxx

I find the same, too. I can’t believe it’s March already though, seems the past couple of months have disappeared too quickly. Ending up in the hospital again hasn’t helped much but I’m definitely, like you, looking forward to the flowers, sunshine & spring! Where are you looking at going on holiday? Take me with yoouuuuu (as long as it’s somewhere warm) 😀

Let me know what you thought of this post!
