Twenty One Pilots, are a band who have always been significant in my life. I remember when their first album came out and although they were not an immediate importance to my music playlist, I appreciated it.
Throughout the years they have grown into an important part of my music taste and their lyrics hit hard. After seeing them perform in a tent at Reading back in 2016, the performance was outstanding and daredevilish. As soon as they released tickets back at the end of last year for an arena world tour, I HAD to see them, they had grown as artists, as performers and has people.
Well it’s fair to say I went into this show with high expectations, and Twenty One Pilots excelled every single one.
Confetti madness, smoke shoots galore, platform flying high, fire and more, and stage stunts! It was beautiful chaos!
The setlist was a mix of old and new, and even though their latest album hadn’t grown on me as much as some of their older stuff there was songs people didn’t know that they would get you involved in.
The whole evening was magical, emotional, intense and overwhelming, I don’t think I have ever seen a gig quite like and I doubt I will again.
Whats been the most emotional gig you have ever been to?
Lots of love,
Sophiemagsx

March 20, 2019 at 10:07 amThat’s crazy that you saw them in a tent at Reading and now they’re headlining this year! I like all the their stage lighting. I think the most emotional concert I’ve been to is Foo Fighters; I’d waited seven years to see them again as the date on their previous tour was cancelled because he broke his leg, then I couldn’t make the rescheduled date. So finally seeing my favourite band again with my family and boyfriend made me tear up!

I-love them and they have helped me through so much and they have kept me alive so to see them was so amazing.
