Now I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am a sucker for a spa. Massages, saunas, jacuzzis, they are GREAT, one of the best ways to unwind your body pressures and let your brain not think, and even better when you get to share it with one of your besties.
So on the back of that, for Christmas last year, I bought my friend a joint spa day as a present as there is no one I would rather share it with! The spa was about 40 minutes away which was perfect as it wasn’t too far of a journey. We had included a half a body neck back and shoulders massage which was SO painful, but the pressure was worth it for getting all the knots out of my back!

Then we spent the next few hours lounging around in the jacuzzi, sauna steam room and my fav thing to have ever discovered, the relaxation room. In here were beds made of tiles and they were super hot, but it felt AMAZING.
After that we had some lunch included in our offer with dessert of afternoon tea, it was delicious and we were super full.
It wasn’t a full day but to be honest I think it was the right amount of time, there is only so much someone can lounge around anyway, but nonetheless my body feels amazing now and it was a much needed relaxation! I always enjoy a few hours of peace and quiet just to give your brain time to refresh and not really think about much.
