YNOT Festival Line Up Review

Hellooooo people!!

In two weeks time I will be soaking up the sun (and probably mud) of the Peak District at YNOT festival. We went last year to this festival and you can read all about that weekend here!

It’s fair to say I am VERY excited for the weekend, no rain or mud in the world could put me off a festival. There is no feeling like that of being drunk from 9am surrounds by your pals in the jazziest of outfits singing along to the best bands.

So for this post, I thought I would do a little break down of the line up and who I will be looking out for.

First up the Headliners:

Although Elbow are a band I would love to see live just for the experience, they do clash with my all time fav’s The Hunna, so the madness and mosh pits will have to be endured rather than a relaxed classic with Elbow. The Hunna are the band I am deffo most excited for.

Two Door and Foals are of course filling me with excitement because they are two very big bands who over the last two years have triumphed in the music industry and grown phenomenally. I have seen both live before and am very excited to see them both once again.

Don Broco, Happy Mondays, Gerry Cinnamon and Rat Boy are all on my must see list as I haven’t seen these live before, and have recently been getting into their music. All four have taken over the festival scene this season so I am excited to see why they have flourished in popularity.

Two other acts which I am super excited to see are Sea Girls and Ten Tonnes. Both only really became a must have in my playlist in the last few months. Its been a situation of, once you find a band you love and you play them constantly kinda vibe. Ten Tonnes shot his way through the music scene this year with his individuality and unique style of music and also the fact he’s super cute ofc, all contribute to the reasons behind him being my most played artist of summer 2019. Sea Girls have came out of nowhere the last three months and are now flourishing. I am actually quite proud to see how far they have come in such a short time, with Radio X absolutely loving them at the minute. I am super stoked to be in this crowd and singing my heart out along with everyone else.

Thats it for this little breakdown as to who I am most looking forward too. Are there any festival line ups you are excited for?

Lots of love,

I went to see Blur in Hyde Park a few years ago and supporting acts were Florence and the Machine and Vampire Weekend. It was truly amazing but I’ve not been to anything since – always either sold out or too expensive. You’ll have so much fun Sophie! xx
