Hey pals! Whats going on with everyone at the minute? My instagram is full of pumpkin patches, cosy blankets and colourful trees and I can’t get enough!! Autumn is definitely my favourite time of year, its cosy, its festive, and its gig season of course.
A few weeks back we did intend on going to Westonbirt Aboretum for a walk around. If you didn’t know, this is a place in England, as part of the national forest, and they have a lot of man made trails, and just out right fantastic scenery. Sadly the weather got the best of us so we couldn’t go! Ever since I have been itching for that Autumn walk, and to be surrounded by the countryside embracing muddy trails and colourful trees.
WELL you guessed it, we were graced with a blistery, but more importantly, dry weekend, and went for a cold stroll up to Bredon Hill. This little walk, is quite local to me, and takes about 2 hours up to the top and back. It’s quite an easy walk and handy to take the dog seeing as its so local. When you get to the top, the view is tranquil. Little villages can be spotted and plenty of sheep. It’s nice to look down and see that the human race hasn’t yet taken over too much and ruined every view…
The ground was wet and muddy, the wind was blowing hard, and it was freakin cold, but I loved it. It feels like Mother Nature is going on a rampage and I will fully embrace that- you go girl! The trees had falling crispy leaves and the paths were squelchy, but thats whole the point right?! Plus we saw a deer and it was cute af.
I hope you are making the most of the autumn and exploring all the trees have to offer.
Lots of love,
