I honestly don’t know whats going on with me lately, I never used to be the type of person who would watch tv for hours and hours but with colder and darker days its all I feel like doing.
In October I released a blog post all about Netflix’s halloween movies which can be found here if you are still in the spooky spirit. So of course with it now being the season to be jolly it was only right I compiled a list of Netflix’s best Christmas movies.
I think it goes without saying that “How The Grinch stole Christmas” is the best Christmas movie. Thankfully Netflix added this one nice and early so we could thoroughly get our feet into the festive spirit. If you haven’t seen this movie, it is one of the most light hearted, family movies filled to the brim with simple humour.

The second movie I watched is A Holiday in the Wild. It is about a newly single woman who’s husband left her seconds before their flight for their second honeymoon in Africa. She abandons a lavishing holiday of spa treatments and gourmet dishes to help out the elephant sanctuary. I only watched this movie originally because there wasn’t alot else on, but I am so glad I did! It has romance, cute baby elephants, comedy, and a really heart warming story line. I love this movie and really recommend it for an easy movie to watch!

Moving on to A Knight Before Christmas now. The storyline to this movie is about a Knight who gets transported to now and has to fall in love. This movie is a very easy predictable Christmas movie. If you like that kinda thing then great but it wasn’t for me. Boring, predictable and too light hearted.

Finally, this wouldn’t be a Christmas list without mentioning the much anticipated Klaus animated Christmas movie. This movie is about a postman who has to prove himself to his father and comes together to create the tradition of Christmas with Mr Klaus. I loved it. It was so full of love. By far one of my favourite Christmas movies I have ever watched. Its has comedy value, it has heart warming moments, thoughts of the unknown, unpredictable events and a little tear jerking moment. Its just generally such a charming movie. You HAVE to watch it to be a part of the Christmas magic. Well done Netflix on this one!

Thats this seasons list of Netflix movies summed up! I am so excited for Christmas!!
What do you watch at this time of year for that extra christmassy feel?
Lots of love,

17/12/2019 at 2:54 amI LOVE The Grinch & totally agree it’s the best Christmas film ever! I honesty like cheesy, fluffy, predictable stuff sometimes but, even I could not get through the first 10 min of the Knight Before Christmas… definitely gonna check out the animated Klaus! Thanks for sharing! <3
