Hello, and welcome to Sophiemagsblog. The leading blog in the life of Sophiemags.
It has now been 2 months since Animal Crossing was released and boy have I made the most of it. I have nearly finished my island, but Im currently having one of those lack of creativity weeks. I go through stages where I have a million ideas and need to get it done, compared to then, nothing because I have outdone myself. I have achieved the 5 star goal, but its deffo still not complete. I do however now have 3 out of th potential 10, koalas so life is good. Sydney, Luka and Ozzie are a perfect fit.
How are all your islands coming along?
After two months of this game, there are a few annoying things that Nintendo only need to slightly adjust to make our lives so much easier;
Crafting more than one of the same item:
This is actually I think the most annoying thing. Not only does it take ages to dig up enough manila clams to be able to catch the rare fish, but then building the fish bait you have to do one at a time PLEASE NINTENDO. Its just a nightmare, and this can also apply to buying Nook Mile Tickets. Villager hunting is great fun so why does it take like an hour to buy all the NMT you could possibly buy.
Asking villagers to move without angering them:
I have a walkway to my shop which is one square wide, I had to use rescue services to get to the other side because every time I tried t get past Ceilia she got angry. I tried four times and she wasn’t having it, they are all adorable I don’t wanna annoy them!
Don’t think I need to say much here really? It’s at least a C+!
I have now completed the fossil section of my museum, but they still keep spawning, and my tidy side hates the fact that I have a neat island covered in loads of holes (fossils) which I have to keep digging up. Its just really irritating, can they stop spawning after you’ve finished it!
Maybe its because I’m not a very creative person, but I find terraforming very limited and also very annoying. You can’t build cliffs to the edge and waterfalls are limited by space and size. It’s all very fiddly when you’re trying to build a masterpiece!
Thats all I want to share with you today. Aside from the little qualms, I am obsessed and its brought me so much peace in lockdown despite the traumatising easter saga. (bloody eggs). I’m grateful for lockdown making me stay inside and do nothing but AC because its very calming!
Is there anything else I have missed? Let me know,
Lots of love,
