June- The Vegan Kind subscription box

Hello friendlings, extra terrestrials and internet robots that spam me with New York fashion week tickets , thanks for stopping by for today’s blog post!

A few months back i did some regular posts on The Vegan Kind subscription box, which i have recently restarted, so jumping straight in, here i am reviewing what i got for June’s box.

If you haven’t read these posts before, in the subscription box you get a recipe card, a variety of snacks and drinks, and a little something different varying from cups, to soap to makeup, all to help give you ideas on vegan snacks and meals. For £13 a month it’s an absolute bargain and a nice monthly treat.

Captain Kombucha Raspberry green tea: I have heard many things about Kombucha and it’s so called healthy impacts. It has been known in China for centuries as the immortal health elixir. (don’t ask me what that means it was on the back of the can) so to say i had high hopes was an understatement. It tasted really good! I would buy it again as it was refreshing and a lot better than a fizzy drink crammed with sugar – 8/10

Salted Caramel and peanut butter mallow puff: essentially a flavoured marshmallow. It was meh, nothing special but i don’t think i would buy it again. marshemellow texture but not much flavour for something using peanut butter and caramel i was a little disappointed with this! 4/10

Katie’s Food Co Salt and Vinegar banana crisps ; These were really good! They had a strong taste and subtle banana taste too but it worked. I was happy with these and it’s something i would consider buying! i think you are always going to win with crisps they are a hard snack to get wrong. 7/10

Love Raw- Milk Chocolate ; This was such a nice little snack. Milk Chocolate is always difficult to achieve vegan, but i really enjoyed this. it was the right size as it was also rich. 8/10

Mr Singhs Chilli cheese and onion Crisps: These were very different to say the least! i didn’t really enjoy them because they were very overwhelming in flavour. Idk i just couldn’t get along with them, 3/10

Lära Bar Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip : This little fruit bar was delicious! i loved it! Great texture, not too strong, full of flavour, just delicious ! i’m giving it a lower score however because fruit bars don’t really do it for me that much! 7/10

That’s it for this months June box! I’m so glad i started this up again because i’m really enjoying eating all these delicious snacks again!

Hope you enjoyed reading this month and be sure to check back for Julys box.

Lots of love;

    omg that marshmallow one looked like a milkyway! I’ve tried kombucha before but I never seem to agree with fizzy drinks so it’s hard hahaha (plus the bottles can be expensive) Thanks so much for sharing Sophie!
